How we collect, use, and protect your information — including the birth data used to generate your Human Design chart.
The Authentic Advantage Co. is a Human Design coaching business founded by Amy Turnbaugh ("Amy"). We help people understand their Human Design through free House Assignments, the Hero Dossier, Live Readings, and the Authentic Advantage Academy.

a) Information you provide directly: name, email, and contact details (opt-ins, free chart, newsletter); birth date, birth time, and birth location (required to generate your Human Design chart / House Assignment — sensitive personal information, see Section 4); payment information (processed by our third-party payment processors, see Section 5); information submitted through forms, surveys, or applications (e.g., Academy application).
b) Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time on Site, referring URLs.
c) Information from third parties: if you sign up via a third-party platform (e.g., Substack), we may receive your email address and subscription status from that platform.
We use the information we collect to generate and deliver your Human Design chart, House Assignment, Hero Dossier, or Live Reading; process payments and deliver purchased products/services; send requested information, including email sequences related to your House type or purchase; improve the Site and our offerings; communicate with you about your account, purchases, or inquiries; send marketing communications where you've opted in (unsubscribe anytime); and comply with legal obligations.
Generating a Human Design chart requires your birth date, time, and location. We treat this information as sensitive and use it solely to generate your chart and related reports, do not sell this information to third parties, store it only as long as necessary to provide the service or while you maintain an account/subscription with us, and process it via our chart-generation platform (Bodygraph) and our CRM (IKONIC/GoHighLevel) as described in Section 6.
Payments are processed securely through PayPal and Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Please review PayPal's and Stripe's own privacy policies, as they act as independent data controllers for the payment information you provide directly to them.
We use the following platforms to operate our business, and your information may be processed by them to deliver our services: Bodygraph (chart generation and report delivery), IKONIC / GoHighLevel (website hosting, CRM, email automation), PayPal / Stripe (payment processing), Substack (newsletter delivery), and podcast hosting platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.) if you interact with embedded podcast content. Each provider has its own privacy practices — we encourage you to review them.
The Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and understand where our visitors come from. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function properly as a result.
If you opt in to receive emails from us (free chart results, House-specific sequences, post-purchase sequences), we will send communications relevant to your selection or purchase. Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email, or by contacting us directly.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers listed in Section 6 solely to perform services on our behalf, or with legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. If you are located in the EEA or California, additional rights may apply under GDPR or CCPA — we will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law.
Our Site and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Service
The rules that govern your use of this Site and any AAA product or service you purchase.
By accessing or using theauthenticadvantageco.com (the "Site") or purchasing any product or service from The Authentic Advantage Co. ("AAA," "we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
AAA provides Human Design coaching-related products and services, including the free House Assignment / chart reading, the Hero Dossier (a paid digital report), Live Reading sessions (a paid, personalized session with Amy or a designated coach), the Authentic Advantage Academy (an application-based coaching program), and educational content via podcast, Substack newsletter, and other Site resources.
Human Design is a self-reflection and personal development framework. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Nothing provided through our Site, charts, reports, readings, or coaching constitutes such advice — consult an appropriately licensed professional for those needs. Decisions made based on our content or services are made at your own discretion and risk.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase products or services from us. By using the Site or making a purchase, you represent that you meet this requirement.
All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed through PayPal and/or Stripe at the time of purchase. You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice; changes will not affect orders already completed.
Due to the personalized and digital nature of our products, refund requests are considered for a limited window only. You may request a refund within 3 days of purchase if there is a reasonable basis for the request (e.g., a technical error in delivery, duplicate charge, or the product not matching its description). We do not offer refunds for change of mind, after the chart/report has been accessed or downloaded, or for requests made after the 3-day window. All sales are otherwise considered final.
Live Reading sessions and Academy participation may require scheduling via a calendar link. You agree to provide accurate availability and to attend at the scheduled time. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 3 days' notice prior to the scheduled time. No-shows, or rescheduling requests made with less than 3 days' notice, will not be refunded or rescheduled.
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, the "House" framework terminology (Ignite, Forge, Storm, Lumis, Tide), the Hero Dossier, our logo, podcast content ("My Pigs Are Flying"), and chart/report templates — is the property of The Authentic Advantage Co. and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our prior written permission.
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems, reproduce/resell/redistribute our paid content (Hero Dossier, Live Reading materials, Academy content) without authorization, or misrepresent your identity or birth information in a way that interferes with accurate chart generation.
Our Site integrates with third-party platforms (Bodygraph, IKONIC/GoHighLevel, PayPal, Stripe, Substack, podcast hosts). We are not responsible for the practices, content, availability, or policies of these third-party platforms, which are governed by their own terms.
The Site and all products/services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Authentic Advantage Co. and Amy Turnbaugh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products/services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to our products or services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Authentic Advantage Co., Amy Turnbaugh, and our affiliates, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
